In order to support the international students in their start in G\u00f6ttingen, the faculty engages Welcome Guides for them. You are invited to apply for a contract as student assistant (studentische Hilfskraft) to help your future fellow students get started in G\u00f6ttingen. Application deadline is the <strong>31.05.2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contract period: 01.09.2026-31.10.2026 (2 month), 20 hours\/month<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flexible working time in agreement with first-year students<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<!--more MOre information On Tasks And Application-->\n\n\n\n<p>Expected tasks could be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>support with application forms for residence permit, health insurance, opening a bank account and more (check out information by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-goettingen.de\/en\/573247.html\">G\u00f6ttingen International<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documents are often printed in German -> translation needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pick up at trains station and first steps in G\u00f6ttingen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First steps at the university: Select courses\/plan curriculum\/find lecture halls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maybe general introduction sessions: guided tour campus\/how to register for courses\/\u2026 -> we will create useful tasks together<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your work will probably be done online\/per email\/chat, and face-to-face at visits. It depends on what you agree on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We look forward to receiving your application to the programme by <a href=\"mailto:studienberatung@biologie.uni-goettingen.de\">email<\/a> by <strong>31.05.2026<\/strong>.
