The project combines cutting-edge methods, including mobile EEG, virtual reality (VR), and full-body motion capture, to study how curiosity influences decision-making, behavior, and memory formation in naturalistic settings. We offer thesis projects in several areas, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experimental data collection and analysis using EEG, VR, and motion-capture technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computational modeling and machine learning, including reinforcement learning approaches to integrate neural, behavioral, and kinematic data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigation of the relationships between brain activity, full-body movement, decision-making, and memory performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced neuroscience methods while contributing to an exciting international research collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested, please contact us with a brief description of your background (ideally CV) and research interests via <a href=\"mailto:zurna.ahmed@uni-goettingen.de\">zurna.ahmed@uni-goettingen.de<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are currently seeking motivated Bachelor&#8217;s and Master&#8217;s students to join an interdisciplinary and international research project investigating the neural correlates of curiosity and its effects on learning and memory.
