Mitmachen in der AG Gleichstellung – wir suchen euch!

Gleichstellung geht uns alle an – auch als Studierende! Die Fakultät für Biologie und Psychologie baut gerade die AG Gleichstellung auf und sucht noch engagierte Studierende, die aktiv mitgestalten wollen.

Die AG Gleichstellung ist im neuen Gleichstellungsplan der Fakultät fest verankert und beschäftigt sich langfristig mit Themen rund um Gleichstellung und Diversität. Als Studierende habt ihr die Möglichkeit, die Gleichstellungsarbeit an eurer Fakultät direkt mitzuprägen – und eure Perspektive einzubringen.

Interesse? Am 27. August 2026 um 10:30 Uhr findet ein offenes Zoom-Meeting statt, bei dem ihr euch informieren könnt – ganz unverbindlich, ohne Anmeldung.

Places still available in International Coaching Group (for master and PhD students)

High levels of self-discipline, good organizational skills and stamina for independent work are often required skills for successful completion of a master’s or doctoral degree. Simultaneously, it is not uncommon to experience feelings of stress, self-doubt or overload during the course of one’s studies.  Having support within the framework of a coaching-group can provide opportunities to connect with peers and to share the struggles and triumphs of this journey.  Additionally, the International Coaching Group provides space to explore which internal and external resources can help you stay the course and aid in building resilience and necessary skills for your work. This group is aimed specifically for international students and will be conducted in English.

Aufruf der Fachgruppe: Tutor*innen/Helfer*innen für O-Phase gesucht!

Liebe Studierende, 

Wir brauchen eure Unterstützung! 

Wie jedes Jahr organisieren wir die O-Woche für die kommenden Erstis.

Vermutlich erinnert ihr euch noch an eure eigene: in einer neuen Stadt ankommen, Kontakte zu Komiliton*innen knüpfen, und vielleicht sogar Freundschaften schließen, die über Jahre halten. Dann wisst ihr auch, wie wichtig die O-Woche für den Studienstart sein kann. Es liegt also an euch, den kommenden Studierenden einen reibungslosen Start ins Uni-versum zu ermöglichen. 

Die Woche verspricht Spaß, viele tolle Veranstaltungen, wie unsere Stadtrallye, die Möglichkeit neue Kontakte zu knüpfen, euer Wissen an die nächste Generation weiterzugeben, und Einblicke in unsere FG-Arbeit. Wie auch die Erstis, so könnt auch ihr fantastische Erinnerung schaffen und an einem unvergessliches Erlebnis teilhaben.

Call for Applications

The steering committee of the Competence Centre Landscape Resilience (CLaRe) of the University of Göttingen invite student groups to submit proposals for collaborative projects that promote active student engagement in the field of landscape resilience.
Projects should point out interactive formats, such as organizing discussions with external speakers, workshops, excursions, hackathons, exhibitions, scientific movie nights.

“Citizen Science für Biodiversität” im WiSe 2026/27

Ab Herbst wird es wieder die Vorlesungsreihe als Schlüsselkompetenzmodul geben (uniweitere Schlüsselkompetenzen). Sie kann allein mit 3 ECTS angerechnet werden oder gemeinsam mit dem SoSe-Modul SK.Biodiv.338 als Wahlpflichtmodul (6 ECTS) im 2. Studienabschnitt B.Sc. Biodiv. Die Vorlesung findet im Großen Hörsaal MN 34 (Untere Karspüle 2) immer Freitags von 12:15-13:45 Uhr statt und schließt mit einer E-Klausur ab.

Neue Lernmöglichkeit im CGiN | New learning opportunity at CGiN

Ab morgen (Mittwoch, 20.05.2026) steht das CGiN (CampusGastronomie im Norden) zusätzlich als Lernort zur Verfügung. Der obere Mensabereich kann montags bis freitags von 16:00 bis 20:00 Uhr zum Lernen und Arbeiten genutzt werden. Wir freuen uns, damit einen weiteren Ort für konzentriertes Lernen und Gruppenarbeiten anbieten zu können.

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, May 20, 2026), the CGiN (Campus Gastronomy in the North) will also be available as a study space. The upper cafeteria area can be used for studying and working Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We are pleased to be able to offer another space for focused study and group work.
