Infopoint Biologie
Der Infopoint Biologie ist ab Beginn der Vorlesungszeit am 26.10. wieder geöffnet:
Mo 10-11 Uhr und Fr 11:30-12:30 Uhr
Hier können Zeugnisse abgeholt, Unterlagen eingereicht oder allgemeine Fragen zum Bio-Studium gestellt werden.
The Infopoint Biology will be open again from the start of the lecture term on 26 October:
Mon 10.00–11.00 and Fri 11.30–12.30
Here, you can collect certificates, submit documents or ask general questions about studying biology.
Last minute places in M.Bio.101.An until 14 Oct (23:59 o’clock)
If interested in M.Bio.101.An (General and Applied Microbiology), you can register starting today at 2pm until midnight (23:59).
Explanation: As the course starts early in lecture period, M.Bio.101.An does not offer the late registration starting the 19 October, 8 am.

Students in higher semester (2nd and above) will automatically be transferred to the new regulations unless they *object within 6 months after its publication*. This gives two options:
A. You wish to study according to the now published regulations: You do not have to take any action.
B. You wish to maintain your studies according to the past regulations: Send letter of objection as e-mail using the following drafts (no attachment, e-mail only) to the examination board (bio.pruefung@bio.uni-goettingen.de), explaining that you wish to continue your studies according to past regulations.
To inform you about details of changes and procedure, we (the Study Advisory Office and Examination Office) are offering an voluntary information meeting:

Key competence offer “Interdisciplinary Neuroscience”
UMG lecturers are opening up the elective module Interdisciplinary Neuroscience from the field of medicine to biology students with an interest in (medical) neuroscience topics. Prior basic knowledge in the field of neuroscience/neurobiology is recommended. The course is held in English with some German-language components (patient consultations) and, upon successful completion, can be recognized with 4 ECTS credits in the key competence area.

New registration rules for CoBi, DNB, MLS
Dear Students of the Master Programmes CoBi, MLS and DNB, please, find the NEW rules for course registrations in FlexNow on our website on registration rules.
There will be no evaluation in StudIP anymore.
Note: Courses of other faculties (Informatics, Agriculture, Physics) with numbers like B.Inf, M.Inf, M.IPAB, B.Phy etc. as well as pure lectures (without practical part or seminar) use StudIP for the course registration and FlexNow for the exam registration.
If you sign up for a course, make sure you attend the course and finish it or deregister in time.
