Back: Biostatistics with R

The key competence module SK.Bio.305 “Biostatistics with R” will also be offered as a block during the lecture-free period this winter semester.

Registration OPEN: Neurizons 2026 (19–22 May, Göttingen)

From 19th to the 22nd of May 2026 the 12th Biennial Neurizons Conference, organized by the IMPRS for Neurosciences students, will take place at the MPI-NAT, Faßberg Campus, Göttingen. Registration is open from 1 January to 12 April 2026. Early bird registration is from January 1st to January 31st, 2026.

WoCaNet 2027 Organizers Wanted

Women’s Careers and Networks (WoCaNet) is a biennial symposium in Göttingen which aims to increase young female scientists’ awareness of their own potentials and opportunities by providing an interactive environment and networking possibilities. Over the years, its scope has grown to be more diverse and inclusive, and we’re now recruiting people who will help shape the next WoCaNet in 2027 and make it happen.

In 2025, we had 2 days of talks, workshops, career fair and networking dinner to foster friendships and professional growth. Interested in taking part and using your soft skills to expand the horizons of what “WoCaNet” can be? Join us!

“Studien-Check” Wintersemester 25/26

Die Zentrale Studienberatung (ZSb) bietet Unterstützung und Beratung bei den Themen Neuorientierung und Fachwechsel sowie Lernen und Selbstmotivation. Es gibt Sprechzeiten in Präsenz und per Telefon, individuelle Beratungstermine, einen Lernworkshop und eine Infoveranstaltung in Kooperation mit dem Hochschulteam der Agentur für Arbeit.
