The Göttingen Neural Networking Day enters its 5th round – a networking opportunity for everyone studying neuroscience in Göttingen! Join us for a day of scientific exchange across all our projects on neuroscience.

Qlife winter school in quantitative biology 2026

The PSL University (Paris) offers two Qlife quantitative biology winter schools, respectively entitled “AI-Accelerated Design and Optimisation of Compounds for Biological Applications” and “Quantitative Approaches to DNA Damage and Repair”. These courses include a series of hands-on computational workshops and are designed for Master 2 and PhD students, as well as postdocs and junior scientists with backgrounds in life science, geoscience, cognitive sciences, physics, chemistry, computer science or mathematics.

Deadlines for applications are December 5th, 2025, and January 19th, 2026, respectively.

Frankfurt Spring School on Conservation Project Management

Together with the Goethe University Frankfurt and other partner organizations, the Frankfurt Zoological Society is offering a four-week program on conservation project management (https://frankfurtspringschool.de). The course is aimed at graduate students in biology, ecology, and related disciplines, as well as early career conservationists. The course is a unique opportunity to gain insight into project development and management, and to network with aspiring conservationists from around the world. Successful participation in the FSS can be certified with 7 ECTS.

The application period runs until November 18th, 2025.

Vernetzungstreffen des Berufsverbandes VHÖ für Interessierte am Berufsfeld Kartierungen und Landschaftsplanung

Die VHÖ, eine seit 1989 bestehende Interessensvertretung im Berufsfeld Naturschutz, Kartierungen und Landschaftsplanung, bietet am 17.11.2025 um 19 Uhr ein Zoom-Treffen für Interessierte am Berufsfeld der Ökolog*innen an. Das Treffen ist vor allem für Personen gedacht, die neu im Berufsfeld sind oder sich erst einmal nur hierfür interessieren. Das Berufsfeld wird kurz vorgestellt und Fragen der Interessierten werden beantwortet. Außerdem können hier erste Kontakte geknüpft werden.

Life-Science-Research Action Day

On November 19, 2025, starting at 4 p.m., you will have the opportunity to learn about various professions in the life science industry by joining the LSR (Life-Science-Research)-Action Day. You can listen to various speakers talk about their everyday working lives. Afterwards, you can meet the speakers at a cozy get-together with free drinks and snacks and make contacts in the industry.
