The research group of Prof. Dr. Stefan Jakobs, Structure and Dynamics of Mitochondria at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences, Faßberg Campus, is looking for a student assistant (HiWi) for the project “Mitochondrial Gene Expression at Synapses Upon Neuronal Stimulation”. The student should have a bachelors degree and should be familiar with lab techniques like immunocytochemistry, cell culture, and fluorescent microscopy. The contract can be adjusted individually with maximally 80h/month working hours for up to 12 months.
