Liebe Studierende,
Zum Auftakt des kommenden Semesters möchten wir euch herzlich zum BioKino am Dienstag, den 27.10.2026, um 18:30 Uhr im MN34 (AvH) einladen. Es wird einen kurzen Vortrag mit Prof. Kappeler passend zum “Tag der Tropenwälder” geben und im Anschluss schauen wir gemeinsam einen Film.
Außerdem findet wie jedes Semester eine Einführungsveranstaltung zum Kennenlernen der Fachgruppe statt: Montag, den 09.11.2026 um 19:30 Uhr im AvH. Kommt gerne vorbei, wenn ihr uns und unsere Arbeit näher kennenlernen und nette Gespräche führen wollt. Wir kümmern uns um Essen und Getränke und stellen ein paar Spiele zu Verfügung.
Wenn ihr an diesem Termin keine Zeit haben solltet, dann kommt gerne zu unseren wöchentlichen Meetings – immer Montags ab 19:30 Uhr im Fachgruppen-Raum im AvH.

Dear Students,
To kick off the upcoming semester, we’d like to invite you to our first BioCinema of the term on Tuesday, October 27, at 6:30 p.m. in MN34 (AvH). There will be a short talk by Prof. Kappeler in honor of the “Tropical Forest Day,” followed by a movie fitting the theme.
In addition, there will be an introductory event to get to know the student group: Monday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the AvH. Feel free to stop by if you’d like to learn more about us and our work. We’ll provide food and drinks and have a few games available. Bring your friends, have a drink and a chat with us!
If you can’t make it to this event, feel free to join our weekly meetings – every Monday starting at 7:30 p.m. in the student group room at the AvH.
